In the conditions of modern agriculture, new solutions are constantly being sought to increase yield, improve the quality of plant production, as well as reduce abiotic stress and resistance of crops to diseases. In this aspect, as a new approach, the application of biologically active substances obtained by a biotechnological route can be used. The main goal is to achieve effects on plants related to mineral nutrition, improvement of the general functional state and adaptation to stress and diseases. The VitAid product formulated in this way gives good results on the plant and the final effect. The action of the product affects mineral nutrition, yield quality, photosynthetic activity and the water regime of plants during the growing season. The reaction of the treated plants showed an increase in the values of chlorophylls and carotenes by 2-3%. Leaf tissue water deficit represents the lack of water to full saturation in leaf tissues. Treatment with VitAid reduces the water deficit at the expense of the relative turgor, or in other words improves the turgor of the plant. This increases the plant’s resistance to drought by over 10%.
The effect of treatment with VitAid leads to a reduction of the water deficit in the leaf tissue, which in turn has a beneficial effect on the metabolism and the general functional state of the plants. This leads to an increase in yield of about 7%
