Zinc (Z) affects photosynthesis, plant respiration, and the formation of phytohormones. It affects the carbohydrate and protein metabolism of plants. Its role in the formation of auxins is especially great. As zinc in plants decreases, so does adenosine triphosphate. Low zinc content is depleted by intensive tillage as well as soils with disturbed structure due to intensive agriculture.
Function
• It stabilizes yields;
• It improves the efficiency of nitrogen and phosphorus fertilisers;
• For more intensive development;
• It improves nitrogen nutrition and increases soil fertility;
• For carbonate soils with low organic matter content;
• With impaired nitrogen and phosphorus ratio;
• After prolonged low temperatures in spring.
