Manganese

Manganese (Mn) is actively involved in metabolism. As an element with variable valence, it influences the oxidation – reduction processes. It promotes the processes of photosynthesis, respiration and nitrogen metabolism of plants. It acts as an activator of enzymes or it is part of them.

Function
• It improves cold resistance in wheat, corn, and oats;
• It increases immunity, especially in the root area;
• It protects the stem from cracking and blackening;
• It improves the content of sugars and cellulose
• It increases the oil content of rapeseed;
• It increases carbohydrates in corn;
• It increases starch in potatoes.
